What this costs
Nothing, today. No account, no advertising, no card form. Here is the whole of it, so you can check rather than take our word for it.
What you get
All 1,189 chapters, read aloud
Every chapter of the King James Version has recorded narration with the words lit in time. Not a sample, not the Gospels only, not the first thirty days.
The study tools
Tap any word for a definition, the sense the King James meant by it, and the Hebrew or Greek underneath. Cross-references and a concordance count come with it.
Four translations, and two at once
King James, World English Bible, American Standard and Young’s Literal, and any two side by side lined up verse by verse.
Reading plans, bookmarks, highlights and notes
Build a plan or bring one in from a spreadsheet. Mark up as much as you like.
Offline reading
Save any book to your device and read it with no connection. Narration still needs one.
An account, if you want one
Only if you want your place, your notes and your streak on more than one device. Reading never asks for it.
What does not happen
No advertising
None anywhere, and no advertising network is loaded on any page. Two measurement tools, both gated on your consent: Google Analytics, which counts how many people opened a chapter and whether the audio played, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how the page was used so the reading experience can be fixed where it is awkward. Decline and neither one loads. Cloudflare serves the site and counts page views at the edge, with no cookie and no tracking between sites. That is the whole list.
No card form
There is nothing to buy and no trial that quietly begins. You will not be asked for a card.
Your searches are not recorded
What you look up in a Bible is nobody else’s business. The app measures that a search happened and how many verses came back. It does not send what you typed.
Your notes stay yours
Highlights and notes live on your device. They only reach the server if you make an account so they can follow you to another one, and they are never sold or shared.
No account required to read
Open a chapter and press play. That is the whole flow.
Why it says today and not forever
Because forever is a long time and this is one person paying for the hosting. Nothing about the product is built to be taken away later: there is no gate, no entitlement and no billing anywhere in it. If that ever changes, it will not be by putting the chapters behind a wall.
